SARGODHA, Nov 04 (APP):The Punjab Highways Patrolling Police (PHP) released its performance report for October 2025 on Tuesday. According to a spokesman, PHP delivered 1,378 awareness lectures throughout the month, apprehended 70 proclaimed offenders and court absconders, and checked 487,781 individuals and 321,471 vehicles and motorcycles using the e-police app.
The spokesman further revealed that 55,000 challans were forwarded to relevant departments for various violations, including overloading and traffic rule infractions. The total revenue generated from challan fines amounted to 3.55 crore rupees. Additionally, special speed-checking teams imposed hefty fines on 528 vehicles for violations, registering 288 cases against the offenders.
In another significant development, 1,226 individuals were issued driving licenses through the new door-to-door service, aimed at enhancing citizen convenience. The spokesman added that, in line with the special directives of Superintendent of Police (SP) Patrolling, Mudassar Iqbal Gujar, the PHP Sargodha region continued to work diligently to provide a wide range of services to the public.
