LAHORE, Jun 25 (APP): The Provincial Development Working Party (PDWP) of Planning and Development Board Punjab, in its 85th meeting of current fiscal year (2024–25), approved on Wednesday five development schemes with a total estimated cost of Rs. 16,750.053 million.
Presided over by P&D Board Chairman Dr. Naeem Rauf here, the meeting approved the following schemes are:
Provision of Infrastructural, Academic and Operational Facilities to the Punjab University of Technology, Rasul, M.B.Din Estimated cost: Rs. 9,793.111 million.
Program for Strategic Transformation / Revamping of Old Blocks of Ex-DHQs (Rahim Yar Khan, Gujranwala, Sargodha) – DHQ Hospital Gujranwala Estimated cost: Rs. 1,097.112 million.
Project Readiness Financing (PRF) for Punjab Provincial Projects – Punjab Intermediate Cities Improvement Investment Program Estimated cost: Rs. 4,777.250 million.
Replacement of Old / Condemned Equipment of PFSA Estimated cost: Rs. 1,012.580 million
PC-II Smart City Lahore Phase-I Estimated cost: Rs. 70 million.
The meeting was also attended by P&D Board Secretary Rafaqat Ali, Chief Economist Masood Anwar, members of the P&D Board, and other senior officers.
