SARGODHA, Nov 01 (APP): Pakistani healthcare professional Dr Sajida Shahnawaz represented Pakistan at the prestigious American Society for Reproductive Medicine (ASRM) conference, recently held in San Antonio, USA.
Speaking to the media on Saturday, she said the ASRM is globally recognised as a leading authority in reproductive medicine, bringing together international experts to discuss the latest advancements in infertility and reproductive health. She shared that she was among seven doctors from Pakistan who participated in the event, which also shed light on the major hurdles and challenges facing new clinical research initiatives in Pakistan.
Describing the participation as a moment of national pride, Dr Shahnawaz said the presence of Pakistani medical professionals at such a high-level forum reflects the growing expertise and commitment of the country’s healthcare community.
She expressed hope that this international engagement would help introduce new innovations in infertility treatment and promote evidence-based practices in Pakistan. “I believe that by collaborating and sharing knowledge, we can overcome existing challenges and bring much-needed advancements to reproductive healthcare in our country,” she added.
