Pak Army, Waziristan elders hold Important jirga on security procedures

PESHAWAR, Dec 03 (APP): A notable jirga was held in Miranshah on Wednesday under the supervision of the Pakistan Army wherein a large number of tribal elders and community leaders from North Waziristan participated.
The purpose of the jirga was to formulate a joint strategy between tribal leaders and security forces to maintain lasting peace in North Waziristan.
The General Officer Commanding (GOC) Miranshah welcomed the participants and appreciated the crucial role of tribal elders in ensuring peace and prosperity in the region.
During the meeting, participants held detailed discussions on the current security situation, ongoing development projects and various administrative challenges facing the area.
The tribal elders reaffirmed their complete cooperation with the security forces until the complete elimination of Fitna al-Khawarij.
At the conclusion of the jirga, both sides agreed to continue mutual cooperation for peace, development and improved administrative governance.
The tribal elders and community leaders unanimously expressed their commitment to stand shoulder to shoulder with the security forces to maintain peace and stability in North Waziristan.
