Over Rs 59.6m distributed among 1,909 flood victims

KHANEWAL, Nov 04 (APP):The Punjab government has distributed over Rs 59.6 million among 1,909 flood-affected families.
According to Deputy Commissioner Dr. Salma Suleman, around 500 flood victims are being given financial assistance daily under her supervision.
Additional Deputy Commissioner (Revenue) Khalid Abbas Sial visited the Baggar Sargana camp site to review the distribution process and available facilities. He said each flood-affected family is receiving a “Rehabilitation Card” and Rs 50,000 in cash.
Victims expressed satisfaction over the transparent disbursement process and thanked the Chief Minister for the timely relief.
ADC (R) Sial added that proper arrangements, including seating areas, clean drinking water, and pick-and-drop transport, are provided at the camp site. Representatives from the Bank of Punjab and Assistant Commissioner Kabirwala also accompanied him during the visit.
