MARDAN, Jul 25 (APP):The district administration has conducted an operation against encroachments in Takht Bhai and Shergarh bazaar.
According to district administration, the drive has been launched on the instructions of Deputy Commissioner Mardan, Behzad Adil to overcome traffic issues.
During the operation supervised by Additional Assistant Commissioner Sehar Anwar along with the Tehsil Municipal Administration (TMA) encroachment staff removed temporary encroachments from sidewalks and roadsides and imposed fines on the violators.
Sehar Anwar said the operation was carried out to keep public pathways clear. The AAC also directed for issuing legal notices to the occupiers to remove permanent encroachments erected upon drainage channels.
