MUZAFFARGARH, Dec 23 (APP): A raiding team of Anti-Corruption Establishment (ACE), circle Layyah, arrested a lower cadre employee of the Deputy Commissioner’s Office on charges of fraud and illegal gratification, and registered a case against him.
According to Anti-Corruption sources, Circle Officer Anti-Corruption Layyah, Sarfraz Gadi, led an operation during which Sher Muhammad alias Sheri, a Naib Qasid, posted at the DC Office Layyah was arrested.
The accused allegedly deceived a citizen by promising him a government job and fraudulently extorted Rs300,000.
The case was registered on the complaint of a citizen, Muhammad Waqas. Further investigation is underway.
