LAHORE, Oct 15 (APP):Newly-appointed inspectors of the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) Lahore Zone were given a comprehensive briefing on the agency’s mission, objectives and operational responsibilities during an official session chaired by the Director FIA Lahore Capt (retd) Muhammad Ali Zia.
Addressing the officers, Director FIA Zia emphasised that transparency, merit and integrity are the cornerstones of the agency’s operations, and reiterated that public service must remain the top priority for all personnel.
The newly inducted inspectors were directed to take firm and effective action against human trafficking, money laundering, corruption, and financial crimes.
The director noted that the FIA’s reputation and public trust are directly linked to the professionalism and honesty of its officers. He assured that modern training, technological tools and improved facilities would be provided to ensure investigations are conducted in line with international standards.
Reaffirming the agency’s commitment to the rule of law, he stressed that no external pressure or vested interests would be allowed to influence official duties at any level.
Concluding the session, it was reiterated that the FIA would continue to strengthen public confidence through enhanced professional performance and would accelerate efforts to eliminate crime nationwide.
