RAWALPINDI, Oct 24 (APP):Director General of National Accountability Bureau (NAB) Rawalpindi, Waqar Ahmad Chauhan, chaired a special meeting on Friday to discuss the development of an online portal.
The portal will provide verified information about approved housing schemes and the legal status of plots within them.
Senior officials, including heads of the Information Technology departments from NAB, the Capital Development Authority (CDA), and the Rawalpindi Development Authority (RDA), attended the meeting.
In his remarks, DG Chauhan emphasised the importance of ensuring transparency in housing schemes and providing the public with easy access to credible information. He highlighted that the new portal would help prevent fraud and illegal activities by offering verified details to citizens.
He instructed CDA and RDA representatives to promptly provide the necessary data to facilitate the integration and operationalisation of the portal.
DG Chauhan further directed that a follow-up meeting be scheduled for next week to refine and enhance the portal’s framework, ensuring that it meets the needs of all stakeholders and remains user-friendly for the public.
