RAWALPINDI, Nov 12 (APP):Myanmar Ambassador Wonna Han on Wednesday visited the Punjab Pavilion at Lok Mela Islamabad, appreciating the craftsmanship and cultural heritage of the province.
On the occasion, Executive Director Lok Virsa Waqas Saleem and Director Punjab Arts Council Rawalpindi Muhammad Shakoor briefed the ambassador about Punjab’s traditional handicrafts, cultural artefacts and artistic heritage.
The ambassador expressed keen interest in the displayed items and purchased various handicrafts and artefacts, highlighting his admiration for the province’s art and culture.
The Punjab Pavilion showcases traditional handicrafts, costumes, pottery and other cultural items for public viewing and appreciation.
