RAWALPINDI, Jun 15 (APP): The Punjab Arts Council here on Sunday launched the ‘Murree Summer Fest’ at Jinnah Road under the patronage of CM Maryam Nawaz Sharif.
The festival features performances by renowned artists including singer Ali Zafar, classical musician Zain Zohaib, vocalist Umer Abbas, singer Sonu and comedian Jani.
The festival, being organized under the special directives from Provincial Minister for Information and Culture Azmaa Bukhari, is hosted and preceded by Ayesha Jehanzeb and poet Ali Zaryon.
“The cultural initiative aims to provide quality entertainment while promoting our regional arts,” said a spokesperson Punjab Arts Council . He further said that the festival is expected to enhance Murree’s tourism appeal and cultural vibrancy.
Visitors can enjoy the festival activities throughout the day at the main Jinnah Road venue.
