KARACHI, Oct 18 (APP): Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah in his message on the 18th anniversary of the Karsaz tragedy, paid tributes to the martyrs.
He said that attack on the convoy of Shaheed Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto was a major blow to the democratic struggle.
The Chief Minister said that more than 150 activists sacrificed their lives to immortalize the democratic struggle and more than 450 injured activists also became faithful to the traditions of the PPP in the democratic struggle.
Murad said that Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto spent her entire life in the struggle for democracy.
Mohtarma was martyrdom.
The CM saluted to Shaheed Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto and her martyred workers.
He said that President Asif Ali Zardari took the democratic struggle forward by raising the slogan of Pakistan Khupe and the PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari also is taking the struggle of the martyrs of the Karsaz tragedy forward.
