LAHORE, Dec 07 (APP):The Pakistan Airports Authority reiterated on the International Civil Aviation Day to develop civil aviation projects and enhance provision of more facilities to passengers.
Pakistan Airports Authority sources in connection of the day told APP that the authority was working rapidly on safe, efficient projects in the country.
Terminal expansion of Allama Iqbal International Airport Lahore will be completed by September 2026.
Runway upgradation of Jinnah International Airport will be completed in January 2026.
Flight procedures in Skardu, Gilgit and Chitral will be implemented by June 2026.
Implementation of flight procedures is subject to the results of the consultant’s feasibility study. The system will significantly reduce flight delays and cancellations due to weather.
