SIALKOT, Jun 27 (APP): A mock exercise was organised regarding Muharram-ul-Haram under the leadership of Deputy Commissioner Saba Asghar at Imambargah Mistry Abdullah and Dar Batool to prepare for timely response to emergency situations.
Under the supervision of District Emergency Officer (DEO) Engineer Naveed Iqbal, Rescue 1122, Civil Defence, Police, CTD, Bomb Disposal Squad participated.
According to rescue spokesperso , a mock bomb blast was conducted in the mock exercise, in which Rescue 1122 provided immediate medical assistance to the injured and shifted them to the hospital and presented a practical example of timely control of the fire there.
The aim of the mock exercise is to test the quality of preparedness and improve mutual cooperation between the institutions and prepare them to deal with any unpleasant situation and natural disaster.
