PESHAWAR, Nov 29 (APP): Provincial minister for excise Syed Fakhar Jehan on Saturday visited Sowarai Buner Sports Complex and Jawan Markaz to review progress of work.
The minister inspected various components of the facilities including the indoor gymnasium, swimming pool, pavilion, cricket academy and open grounds directing the officials concerned to further accelerate the work by abiding quality standards.
He said that these projects were aimed to provide Buner’s youth to national-standard training, grooming and constructive recreational opportunities. He said that establishing modern, multipurpose sports infrastructure in Buner reflected the provincial government’s commitment to promoting youth engagement in healthy and productive activities.
The minister said that it would function as a service center for youth offering them skill development, training, career counselling and other essential services under one roof.
