LAHORE, Oct 02 (APP):A review session of the Punjab Mineral Development Corporation (PUNJMIN), led by Provincial Minister for Mines and Minerals Ibrahim Murad, was convened here on Monday.
During the session, the minister expressed dissatisfaction with the organization’s performance and issued directives for its improvement.
Addressing the participants, Ibrahim Murad stated that a comprehensive investigation into past irregularities in the organization would be conducted, and stringent actions would be taken. An assessment of the required human resources would be carried out through a human resource analysis.
The minister emphasized that there was no place for ghost employees in the organization and warned that misconduct and incompetence would not be tolerated under any circumstances. While recognizing the revenue generation potential in the department, he stressed the need to formulate a future action plan.
Mines and Minerals Secretary Babar Aman Babar also participated in the session.
