PESHAWAR, Jan 14 (APP):Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Minister for Elementary and Secondary Education, Arshad Ayub Khan Wednesday formally inaugurated the E-Transfer Policy System.
The ceremony was attended by Secretary Elementary and Secondary Education Muhammad Khalid, Special Secretary Elementary and Secondary Education Masood Ahmed, Chief Planning Education Officer Zainullah and other officials.
Speaking on the occasion, the provincial minister said that the provincial government has taken a historic step by successfully introducing the E-Transfer Policy System across the province ensuring teachers’ preferences and merit-based transfers. He stated that although the e-transfer policy process had been initiated twice in the past adding that shortcomings have now been fully addressed.
The minister expressed confidence that the e-transfer system will continue successfully in the province. He told that further improvements will be made to promote the education sector more effectively.
He also announced that tenure-based and mutual (inter-district) transfers will be carried out under the policy.
