DERA ISMAIL KHAN, Jan 07 (APP):Deputy Commissioner Upper South Waziristan Asmatullah Wazir has chaired a meeting to discuss matters regarding the registration of flour dealers.
According to the administration, the meeting was chaired by the Assistant Food Controller of Upper South Waziristan, and other concerned officers attended the meeting.
The meeting discussed in detail matters pertaining to the registration of flour dealers, completion of records, enforcement of rules and regulations, and the provision of quality flour to people of the area.
The deputy commissioner directed all concerned stakeholders to ensure that the registration process of flour dealers was completed strictly in accordance with the prescribed laws in order to prevent hoarding and profiteering.
He said that the provision of quality flour to people at officially fixed prices remained a top priority of the district administration.
According to the district administration, following the registration of flour dealers, the monitoring mechanism will be further strengthened to ensure strict action against illegal activities.
