QUETTA, Nov 27 (APP): Governor Balochistan Jaffar Khan Mandokhel on Thursday said that it is important that we make full use of the knowledge and experience of all the experts in our universities and utilize our capabilities for the benefit of the country.
He expressed these views while addressing the participants of the event organized at the BUITEMS University Takto Campus regarding “Job Fair 2025”.
On this occasion, Vice Chancellor Dr. Khalid Hafeez, Pro Vice Chancellor Dr. Mirwais Kasi, Principal Secretary to Governor Balochistan Kaleemullah Babar and Vice Chairman Balochistan Investment Board Bilal Khan Kakar along with a large number of representatives of various universities, companies and banks were present.
The Governor said that we have brought all our government universities to a point where their senior scholars and researchers are fully capable of providing all kinds of modern training to officers of big companies and government departments and the certificates and degrees of our higher institutions are also credible.
He said that there is a dire need to get a proper understanding of the real problem of Balochistan, the majority of the youth of the province are facing severe unemployment, there are no wide employment opportunities here like in Punjab and Sindh.
He said that in this regard, the “Job Fair” brings academia and industry closer to each other, brings them together to find new employment opportunities and advance career development.
The Governor said that the Job Fair actually highlights the practical life sense that education and employment are interconnected.
He said that we provide quality education to our university students as well as modern skills, networks and opportunities to succeed in their chosen careers.
He said that at this time, we have to create collaboration between academia and industry according to our social needs, it is a fact that the government could not provide employment to millions of people, for which we have to strengthen and stabilize our private sector.
Jaffar Khan Mandokhel said that stalls of various national and international companies as well as various banks have been set up in the 8th BUITEMS Job Fair 2025.
Their representatives are informing the students of BUITEMS University about the performance, products and employment opportunities of their respective institutions.
I congratulate Vice Chancellor Dr. Khalid Hafeez and his entire team on organizing this successful job fair and hope that the series of education and employment will continue in the future, he said.
Earlier, Balochistan Governor Jaffar Khan Mandokhel inspected the stalls set up by more than a hundred national and international companies.
