LODHRAN, Nov 08 (APP): Dhanot police have arrested a notorious drug peddler and seized over 10 kilograms of hashish during a successful operation.
According to a police spokesperson, the operation was carried out on the special instructions of District Police Officer (DPO) Capt (R) Ali Bin Tariq. The police team raided the suspect’s location and apprehended Baqir Khawaja, who was found in possession of 10 kilograms and 600 grams of hashish. This action was part of an ongoing campaign against drug peddlers in the area.
SHO Dhanot Imran Gujjar stated that efforts were underway to arrest other members involved in the drug trafficking network.
On the occasion, DPO Ali Bin Tariq praised SHO Imran Gujjar and his team for the successful raid. He further instructed the police to accelerate their targeted operations against those involved in the drug trade.
