LAHORE, Oct 24 (APP):The Punjab government has launched a major socio-economic survey across the province to effectively deliver aid to the deserving people.
However, the shortage of tablets has become a major challenge during the survey.
According to official sources, the Urban Unit has informed the government that the tablets available for the survey are insufficient, while the organization has been provided with 25,000 tablets so far.
A total of 32,795 tablets were requested. The Urban Unit has demanded immediate provision of 13,000 more tablets.
According to officials, survey teams in the field are continuing the process of collecting data from the public, and all the information is being uploaded directly into the system through tablets.
Various Government representatives told APP that with the help of this survey, better policy decisions will be possible for fair distribution of resources and public welfare.
