DERA ISMAIL KHAN, Nov 25 (APP):A major anti-encroachment campaign is underway in full swing at various parts of the district.
The comprehensive compaig is continuing under the supervision of Assistant Commissioner Syed Muhammad Arsalan.
As part of the drive, the operation was conducted from Faqeerani Gate to GPO Chowk along South Circular Road, where several illegal structures and obstructions were removed. DSP Traffic, Tehsildar Dera, Revenue staff, TMA, WSSC staff, and police teams were present on the spot to ensure the operation was conducted effectively.
The administration strictly warned all shopkeepers and traders not to reinstall any encroachments in the cleared areas.
In case of violation, strict legal action, including registration of FIR, will be taken.
The district administration has announced that the anti-encroachment campaign will continue in the coming days to provide citizens with better traffic flow and a cleaner environment.
