RAWALPINDI, Nov 03 (APP): The Murree District Administration has carried out a major anti-encroachment operation in Aliot, and in Kashmiri Bazaar and Kohsar Market in Bhurban.

According to a district administration spokesman on Monday, teams removed encroachments, and illegal constructions and structures during the operation.

The spokesman said the anti-encroachment drive had been under way across the hill station on the instructions of Deputy Commissioner Agha Zaheer Abbas Shirazi.

He said no one would be allowed to undertake illegal constructions or encroach on public land in the Murree District, warning that strict legal proceedings would be initiated against those involved in unauthorised building or encroachment.

Any attempt to hinder the operation or reinstate demolished encroachments would lead to stern action, the spokesman added.
