Lanjar for foolproof security on Jumatul Wida

KARACHI, Mar 20 (APP):Sindh Home Minister Ziaul Hassan Lanjar has directed the Police to ensure foolproof security on the occasion of Jumatul Wida.

     He ordered security of mosques, imambargahs and large gatherings to be made foolproof.

    The Home Minister said to keep security on high alert during Friday congregational prayers across the province and to ensure deployment of additional personnel.

       Lanjar said that special security plan has been implemented in sensitive districts with directives to tighten checking at entry and exit points.

       He ordered for a comprehensive traffic plan to maintain smooth traffic flow and provide uninterrupted movement to citizens.

     He also issued directives for the CCTV monitoring, sniffer dogs and bomb disposal squads to remain alert and immediate measures must be ensured to deal with any emergency situation.
