PESHAWAR, Oct 21 (APP):Speaker KP Assembly Babar Saleem Swati here Tuesday adjourned session until 2p.m on Friday October 24, 2025.
He adjourned the session ue to the lack of attendance of lawmakers.
The session of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly began on Tuesday afternoon under the chairmanship of Speaker Babar Saleem Swati with the recitation of the Holy Quran.
After the recitation, the national anthem was played.
However, before the start of the parliamentary proceedings, Awami National Party (ANP) member Arbab Usman pointed out the low attendance of members in the house.
On the Speaker’s directive, a headcount was conducted. It was found that only 25 members were present in the House that were insufficient.
Although the session started half an hour later than scheduled, this delay was shorter than usual, as assembly sessions often begin with a delay of two to two-and-a-half hours.
