PESHAWAR, Nov 04 (APP): Khyber Medical University (KMU) has achieved another remarkable milestone as its Bachelor of Science in Occupational Therapy (BSOT) program has been formally accredited by World Federation of Occupational Therapists (WFOT).

This international recognition reflects KMU’s commitment to excellence in education, its world-class curriculum, a strong framework for clinical training, and an effective quality assurance system.

The successful accreditation is the result of the dedicated efforts of Program Coordinator Nazish Abdul Qadir, Director Institute of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (IPMR), Dr. Irfan Ullah, and Dean Faculty of Allied Health Sciences Dr. Haider Darain, whose leadership and guidance played a vital role in achieving this recognition.

According to the university, WFOT accreditation will not only enhance KMU’s academic and clinical reputation globally but also open new avenues for international collaboration, student exchange programs, and professional development in the field of rehabilitation sciences.

With this achievement, KMU has joined the ranks of a select group of universities worldwide recognized for maintaining international standards in occupational therapy education.
