ISLAMABAD, Jun 29 (APP):Islamabad Traffic Police (ITP), Chief Traffic Officer (CTO) Captain (R) Syed Zeeshan Haider on Sunday reviewed the traffic plan for Muharram-ul-Haram and issued key directives to officers to ensure smooth vehicular flow and public safety during religious processions in the federal capital.
An official told APP that the CTO Zeeshan visited the central Imambargah Asna Ashari in G-6/2 and inspected the routes designated for processions. He instructed officers to implement foolproof measures to maintain order during the mourning period.
CTO Zeeshan said no vehicle would be allowed to park near the main procession routes, and parking zones should be designated at least 100 meters away from all entry and exit points.
CTO said strict action would be taken against illegal parking, and citizens should cooperate by parking their vehicles only in designated areas.
He said concrete barriers and barbed wire should be installed along the procession routes to enhance security.
CTO Zeeshan said that in line with the vision of the Inspector General of Police Islamabad, the traffic police would ensure the best possible management during Muharram-ul-Haram.
