Inland Revenue team seals shopping malls in Wah cantt on issuing non-integrated POS receipts

RAWALPINDI, Jan 24 (APP): Assistant Commissioner Inland Revenue, Ahsan Jamil along with his team on Tuesday sealed the business premises of two leading shopping malls operating within the jurisdiction of Wah Cantt, Rawalpindi.

The business was involved in issuing non-integrated point of sale (POS) receipts despite being an integrated retailer.

The sealing order was issued on the instructions of the Chief Commissioner IR.

The Tax House, Rawalpindi in a statement said the department was committed to maximize tax compliance in the city and advised the citizens to report non POS invoices through Tax Asaan application.
