IGP provides house to another martyr’s family

LAHORE, Jul 07 (APP):Inspector General of Police (IGP) Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar has continued his mission to provide shelter to the families of police martyrs by handing over a newly purchased house to the family of Shaheed sub-inspector, who embraced martyrdom in 2024 during an encounter with proclaimed offenders.
According to the Punjab Police spokesperson, a house worth Rs. 17.5 million was purchased in a private housing society in Rahim Yar Khan, in accordance with the family’s preference. The late officer is survived by his wife, three sons, and a daughter. The Punjab government released the required funds for the house on the special request and persistent efforts of IG Dr. Usman Anwar.
Paying glowing tribute to the martyred officer, IG Punjab said Sub-Inspector Muhammad Ramzan laid down his life in the line of duty without hesitation. “Punjab Police will never forget the sacrifices of its brave sons,” he added.
