QUETTA, Oct 31 (APP):Balochistan Chief Minister Mir Sarfaraz Bugti on Friday said that incumbent government is developing the Balochistan Police on modern lines to curb terrorist activities for maintaining durable peace in the province.
He said this when he visited Suhbatpur where he met the families of SHO Lutf Ali Khosa and Constable Muhammad Azam, who were martyred in an encounter with terrorists in Bhag-Nari area of Kachhi district.
The Chief Minister also offered condolences and Fateha to the families of the martyrs and paid tribute to their great sacrifices.
Mir Sarfraz Bugti said that SHO Lutf Ali Khosa and his team fought the terrorists with courage, bravery and valor and instead of surrendering to the terrorists, keeping the centuries-old Baloch traditions alive, they fought bravely and attained martyrdom.
The Chief Minister said that the sacrifices of martyred SHO Lutf Ali Khosa and martyred Constable Muhammad Azam elevate the dignity of Balochistan Police.
On behalf of the people of Balochistan, I express my heartfelt sympathy and solidarity with the families of the martyrs, he said.
He said that martyrs are alive, their memories and services always live on and announced the construction of a blacktop road to the house of martyred SHO Lutf Ali Khosa, employment of his sons in the Balochistan Police, and naming the village’s basic health unit and school after the martyrs.
The CM said that the officers and personnel of the Balochistan Police and security forces are sacrificing their lives for the protection of the people saying that the Balochistan government stands with their families at every step.
He said that the Balochistan government is developing the Balochistan Police on modern lines,  important decisions were taken to increase the capacity of the police in a high-level meeting yesterday.
Mir Sarfraz Bugti said that the Levies Force is being integrated into the police so that decisive steps could be taken to deal with terrorism and crime.
The Chief Minister said that yesterday, the Kachhi Police took successful action against the robbers, which is a manifestation of the better performance of the police.
He said that important decisions were taken in a high-level meeting yesterday to increase the professional capacity of the Balochistan Police to deal with terrorism and crime adding that the day is not far when the Balochistan Police would be able to effectively eradicate terrorism and all kinds of crimes as an organized and modern force.
The CM said that the state machinery would remain active with full force until the complete elimination of terrorism.
The sacrifices of the people and forces of Balochistan will not go in vain. The terrorists will be defeated and the sun of peace and stability will definitely rise in Balochistan, he said.
On this occasion, Provincial Minister for Livestock Sardarzada Faisal Khan Jamali, Parliamentary Secretary Excise and Taxation Haji Muhammad Khan Lehri, Chief Secretary Balochistan Shakeel Qadir Khan, IG Police Muhammad Tahir Khan, Commissioner Naseerabad Division Salahuddin Noorzai and Deputy Commissioner Suhbatpur Farida Tareen and local officers were also present.
