Governor Kundi pays tribute to ZAB on his death anniversary

PESHAWAR, Apr 04 (APP): Governor Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Faisal Karim Kundi on Saturday paid rich tribute to Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto on his death anniversary, terming him a great national leader who laid the foundation of democracy, public rights and sovereignty in Pakistan.

In his message, the Governor said that Shaheed Bhutto gave the country a unanimous Constitution and provided a voice to the common man in politics.

He added that Bhutto’s services would always be remembered and his political vision continues to serve as a guiding light for the nation.

Kundi said that Bhutto struggled for empowering the masses and making Pakistan a strong and self-reliant state.

He also paid tribute to Benazir Bhutto, saying that she embraced martyrdom for the completion of her father’s mission.

He said that President Asif Ali Zardari and PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari were carrying forward the same mission with dedication.

The Governor said that the Pakistan Peoples Party, under the leadership of Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, remained committed to the ideology of Shaheed Bhutto and continues the journey of public service in line with his vision.

He further said that the Party leadership was determined to strengthen democracy, ensure supremacy of the Constitution and safeguard public rights while promoting Bhutto’s political philosophy.

Kundi reaffirmed the resolve that the sacrifices of Shaheed Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto would not go in vain and that the country would be steered towards progress and prosperity in the light of his vision.
