SUKKUR, May 31 (APP):A Girls’ Cricket Championship 2025 was held at the Sukkur Hockey Stadium here on Saturday. The event was organized in collaboration with the Sports and Youth Affairs Department and Shaheed Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto Women Sports Academy Sukkur.
Four teams, including Pakistan Army, Pakistan Navy, Pakistan Air Force, and Pakistan Rangers, participated in the championship. Pakistan Navy won the final match against Pakistan Army, scoring 64 runs in 4 overs in response to Pakistan Army’s 63 runs in 8 overs.
The event aimed to encourage young girls in sports, promote national unity, and celebrate Youm-e-Takbeer. District Sports Officer, sports officials, and players attended the championship.
