RAWALPINDI, Feb 02 (APP): Rawalpindi Police have arrested four illegal arm holders in separate operations and recovered illegal weapons along with ammunition, police said on Monday.
According to a police spokesperson, the arrests were made during targeted operations carried out in areas falling in the jurisdiction of Banni, Mandra, Dhamiyal and Kallar Syedan police stations.
Separate cases have been registered against the suspects, and further legal proceedings are under way, the spokesperson added.
Divisional Superintendents of Police (SPs) commended police teams for their swift action and said those found in possession of illegal arms would not escape the law, adding that the operations were part of ongoing efforts to curb the proliferation of illegal weapons.
