Four faculty members elected in KMU syndicate elections

PESHAWAR, Jun 30 (APP):Elections for the Syndicate members of Khyber Medical University (KMU) Peshawar were successfully held with candidates participating from the categories of Professors, Associate Professors, Assistant Professors, and Lecturers.
The Syndicate, being the university’s highest decision-making body, had a total of 13 candidates contesting in various slots.
According to results, in the Professors’ category, Prof. Dr. Inayat Shah was elected with 18 votes. In the Associate Professors’ category, Dr. Momin Khan won with 17 votes. For the Assistant Professors’ seat, Dr. Noshad Asim secured victory with 19 votes, while in the Lecturers’ category, Dr. Amir Khan received the highest number of votes and was successfully elected.
All elected members expressed their resolve to enhance academic standards, promote research, and contribute effectively to the welfare and development of the university and its employees.
KMU Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Zia ul Haq congratulated the newly elected members and expressed hope that their inclusion in the Syndicate would mark a significant milestone in advancing KMU’s educational vision and institutional progress.
