LAHORE, Jul 24 (APP):Police arrested four alleged drug peddlers during a targeted operation in Iqbal Town area here on Thursday.
A police spokesperson said, SHO Iqbal Town Amir Shehzad, along with his team, conducted successful raids at various locations, resulting in the arrest of four suspects identified as Kashif, Agha Khurram, Asif and Farhan.
The suspects were allegedly involved in supplying narcotics, including ice (methamphetamine), heroin and hashish, in educational institutions and residential areas.
Police also recovered 7.5 kilograms of hashish from Kashif, 1,520 grams of heroin from Agha Khurram and 630-gram ice from Asif and Farhan. The total value of the seized narcotics is said to be in the millions of rupees.
Cases have been registered against the accused, and further investigation has been initiated, spokesperson added.
