GUJRAT, Oct 31 (APP):The Punjab Food Authority (PFA) teams conducted a total of 60 inspections across Gujrat on Friday to ensure food safety and hygiene standards.
According to PFA Officer Gujrat Rizwan Saeed, 18 food points were issued improvement notices, while four were given warnings and directions. Fines amounting to Rs. 75,000 were imposed on nine outlets for various violations.During the operation, 18 kilograms of expired food items were discarded, and one public complaint was also addressed.
The officer said that the inspection campaign would continue across the district to ensure the provision of quality, safe, and healthy food to citizens.
