LAHORE, Nov 30 (APP): The Meteorological Department has predicted that fog will prevail in the plains of Punjab during the early morning and night hours in the coming days.
According to sources, fog is expected to gradually intensify over the next few days, affecting visibility and local weather conditions. In addition to fog, a further drop in both day and night temperatures is expected in the northern areas of the country, with colder conditions continuing to affect the region.
Over the past 24 hours, much of the country experienced cold and dry weather, with severe cold conditions persisting in the mountainous regions. Fog was also observed in several plain districts of Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
In terms of temperature, Skardu recorded the coldest temperature in the country, with a minimum reading of minus 11 degrees Celsius.
