RAWALPINDI, Oct 16 (APP):The Fatima Jinnah Women University (FJWU) Rawalpindi has achieved an outstanding score of 93.87 in the Quality Enhancement Cell (QEC) Annual Performance Assessment 2023–24 conducted by the Higher Education Commission (HEC) of Pakistan.
“The university’s exceptional performance reflects its sustained focus on academic excellence, institutional growth, and quality assurance in higher education,” the FJWU spokesperson said on Thursday.
Under the leadership of Vice Chancellor Professor Dr Bushra Mirza, and the supervision of QEC Director Professor Dr Bushra Yasmin, he added, the university demonstrated strong compliance with the HEC’s quality benchmarks and a firm commitment to innovation across academic and administrative areas.
Dr Bushra appreciated the dedicated efforts of the QEC team for securing the impressive score and said the university would continue to strengthen its quality assurance systems and promote a culture of continuous improvement.
The HEC’s QEC assessment framework evaluates universities on various parameters, including institutional performance and governance, academic programmes and outcomes, accreditation and quality assurance processes, and stakeholder feedback mechanisms.
“The FJWU’s high score across these indicators underscores its alignment with international standards of higher education and its commitment to maintaining quality at every level,” the spokesperson said.
This achievement, he added, further consolidated the Fatima Jinnah Women University’s standing among Pakistan’s leading institutions of higher learning and reaffirmed its mission of empowering women through education, research, and innovation.
