RAWALPINDI, Feb 02 (APP): Rawalpindi Police have arrested five outlaws in separate operations and recovered more than 1.5 kilograms of cannabis and 50 litres of liquor, police said on Monday.
According to a police spokesperson, Gujar Khan Police detained drug supplier and seized 1.5 kg of cannabis.
Similarly, Banni Police arrested liquor supplier and recovered 20 litres of liquor, while Saddar Wah Police also netted another supplier with 20 litres of liquor.
Additionally, Race Course Police arrested two suppliers and seized 10 litres of liquor from their possession.
Separate cases have been registered against all the suspects, and further legal proceedings are under way.
Divisional Superintendents commended police teams for their swift action and said the crackdown was part of ongoing efforts to eradicate the menace of narcotics and illicit substances from the district.
