MULTAN, Jul 18 (APP):Sui Northern Gas Pipelines Limited (SNGPL) Task Force continued its daily operation and disconnected five meters.
According to the details, a residential consumer was found using its connection for commercial purposes. The meter was disconnected and further departmental action was recommended.
Another user was caught tampering with his meter to steal gas, on which his meter was also disconnected and sent to the laboratory.
Two consumers were found with suspicious meter seal tampering and their meters were disconnected as well.
One consumer was caught reversing his meter to steal gas on which his meter was disconnected and sent to the laboratory.
Additionally, five consumers who were supplying gas to more than the allowed number of houses had their extensions removed.
