FAISALABAD, Jul 18 (APP):The district police arrested five drug peddlers and seized contraband from their possession during the last 24 hours.
According to a police report here on Thursday, Ghulam Muhammad Abad police arrested a drug pusher Shakeel from Chakera on Narrwala road and seized 1.6kg of hashish from his possession. Saddar police nabbed Naveed red handed with 30 liters of wine from Ahmedabad.
Roshanwala police held Niamat with 1.5kg of hashish. Jaranwala police apprehended one Shahzad and recovered 1.4kg of hashish.
Meanwhile, Madina Town police held a drug peddler red handed with 12kg Cannabis (Bhang) and wine from a road approaching Chak No 208-RB.
Police have registered separate cases against all accused.
