LAHORE, Oct 07 (APP): Development activities under the Chief Minister’s Lahore Development Program (LDP) have been largely completed in the first phase, with rapid progress now being made on Phase 2.
According to the latest report, 349 kilometers out of the targeted 351 kilometers of sewerage lines have been laid, while 441 kilometers of the 448-kilometer water supply network have also been completed in Phase One.
Under the supervision of WASA, 364 out of 365 designated streets have been completed, while a total of 1,404 out of 1,573 streets — jointly managed by WASA and the district administration — have been fully developed. WASA has achieved 94% completion of its Phase One targets.
Work on Phase Two is now in progress. So far, 39 kilometers out of 290 kilometers of sewerage lines and 25 kilometers out of 310 kilometers of water supply lines have been completed.
