BUREWALA, Oct 24 (APP):Train operations were disrupted after the Fareed Express derailed near Gaggo Mandi railway station on Friday morning.
The train, which was traveling from Lahore to Karachi, met with the incident shortly after leaving Gaggo station, resulting in two coaches coming off the track.
According to initial reports, the train was already running two hours behind schedule. Upon receiving information, railway officials and rescue teams rushed to the site and began efforts to restore the derailed coaches.
Railway traffic was temporarily affected, leading to delays in the movement of other trains. However, no loss of life or injuries was reported. Railway authorities have launched an inquiry to determine the exact cause of the accident.
