HAVELIAN, Nov 05 (APP):Provincial General Secretary of Pakistan Muslim League (N) Murtaza Javed Abbasi has said that Babar Nawaz Khan will win the NA-18 seat on November 23 and present it as a gift to party leader Mian Muhammad Nawaz Sharif, declaring that the era of hereditary politics in Haripur will end that day.
He expressed these views while addressing a grand consultative workers’ convention of PML-N Tehsil Ghazi, held under the patronage of Senior Vice President Sahibzada Pir Sabir Shah and organized by PML-N Haripur President Sahibzada Hamid Shah and Tehsil Ghazi President Khan Nawaz Khan.
Abbasi said the Pakistan Muslim League (N) was united and confident of victory in the upcoming by-election, adding that the party would once again prove its popularity through the power of the people’s vote.
The event witnessed a large turnout of party leaders and workers, including central leader Captain (R) Muhammad Safdar, Leader of the Opposition in the Provincial Assembly Dr. Ibadullah Khan, former Senator Pir Sabir Shah, MNA Dr. Shazia Jadoon, MPAs Sardar Shahjehan Yousuf and Shazia Jadoon, former Provincial Minister Qazi Asad, Chaudhry Khassana, Tehsil Chairman Ghazi Pir Hamid Shah, former Havelian Tehsil Chairman candidate Malik Talha Asif, and MSF Provincial General Secretary Abid Yousafzai.
