Eid-ul-Fitr Celebrations: Sukkur Police Range Ensures Robust Security Across Districts

SUKKUR, Mar 21 (APP):Sukkur Police Range ensured a peaceful and secured Eid-ul-Fitr security arrangement on Saturday, they have made elaborate security arrangements in the Khairpur, Sukkur and Ghotki districts.

Under the directives of Deputy Inspector General  (DIG) Sukkur Nasir Aftab, a comprehensive security plan were devised to maintain law and order and protect the lives and properties of citizens.

A total of 5000 police personnel, including men and women officers were deployed across the division to performed duties during the Eid celebrations. The police personnel were deployed at mosques, imambargahs, Eid prayer congregations, and other public places.

The security plan also included the cancellation of leaves for police personnel, increase in police patrols, and monitoring

of CCTV cameras installed at important locations. Police personnel in plainclothes were also deployed to keep a vigilant eye on suspicious activities.

DIG Sukkur has already directed the Senior Superintendents of Police of the three districts to ensure the implementation of the security plan, deployment of police personnel on internal and external routes, and strict security measures to prevent crimes and maintain peace and order.

The police also made arrangements to ensure the security of Eid prayer congregations, held in 778 places, including mosques, imambargahs, and open places, in Sukkur, Khairpur, and Ghotki districts.
