“Earth Hour” a practical expression of love, awareness for planet: Sindh Governor

KARACHI, Mar 28 (APP): The Governor of Sindh, Syed Muhammad Nehal Hashmi, has appealed to observe “Earth Hour”, here on Saturday.

He said that a one-hour sacrifice is essential for environmental protection.

The Governor said that energy conservation is the guarantee of a bright and secure future.

Nehal Hashmi said that citizens should show responsibility by turning off unnecessary lights.

He said that the lights at the Governor’s House will also remain off today (Saturday) from 8:30 pm to 9:30 pm.

“Earth Hour” is a practical expression of love and awareness for the planet, Muhammad Nehal Hashmi said, adding that collective actions are necessary to tackle climate change.
