SIALKOT, Aug 24 (APP):District Police Officer (DPO) Sialkot Muhammad Hasan Iqbal held an open court at Saddar Pasrur police station.
A large number of local residents participated and shared their complaints.
After listening to the complaints, the DPO issued orders to the officers concerned to take departmental action against the negligent officials and redress the complaints on merit.
After the open court, DPO Muhammd Hasan told the media that all senior officers carrying out investigation of serious cases were present at the open court. He said the aim of holding of open courts was to reduce gap between the police and the public by making it easier for citizens to reach out to officers for resolution of their problems.
