District administration working to shift riverine areas’  people  to safer places

CHINIOT, Jul 21 (APP):On the orders of Chief Minister Punjab Maryam Nawaz Sharif, teams led by Assistant Commissioners and Revenue Officers under the supervision of Deputy Commissioner Safiullah Gondal are working to shift people living on the banks of rivers to safer places in view of the possible heavy rains and flood situation in the current monsoon season.

It was necessary to protect the lives and property of people living in riverine areas, the DC said.
