DERA ISMAIL KHAN , Oct 16 (APP):The Dera Police have successfully traced two robbery cases and arrested three accused involved in vehicle snatching incidents, recovering stolen property in separate operations in the limits of Daraban Police station on Thursday.
According to a police spokesman, the action was carried out under the directives of District Police Officer (DPO) Dera Ismail Khan, Sajjad Ahmad Sahibzada, as part of the district-wide crackdown against criminal elements. The operation was led by SP Sadar Division Muhammad Nawab Khan and SDPO Daraban Syed Murjan Khan, with SHO Daraban Police station Asghar Khan Wazir heading the field team.
The arrested suspects were identified as Abdullah son of Sirajuddin, resident of Shah Alam; Sadar Khan son of Masood Khan, resident of Zhob, currently living in Musa Zai Sharif; and Eid Gul alias Sher Khan son of Shah Malang, resident of Zarkani.
During the operation, the police recovered a snatched Datsun double cabin pickup and a Honda CG-125 motorcycle belonging to the victims of two separate robbery cases. The recovered vehicles were taken into custody as evidence, and legal proceedings against the suspects have been initiated.
Further investigation is underway to uncover additional accomplices and recover any other stolen property, the spokesman added.
