DIKhan Police intensify snap checking; 35 suspects detained
Dera Ismail Khan, Nov 28 (APP): On the directives of District Police Officer (DPO) DIKhan District, Sajjad Ahmed Sahibzada, snap checking operations continued across City, Suburb and Prova circles under the supervision of SP City Division Ali Hamza, police said on Friday.
According to the police, SDPOs and SHOs established multiple check posts at key points where passenger vehicles, motorcycles and suspicious individuals were thoroughly inspected. During the operations, a total of 35 persons including suspects wanted in various offences were taken into custody.
The snap checking campaign aimed to further improve the law-and-order situation, prevent criminal activities, and identify suspicious elements. Police teams also verified citizens’ identification documents and vehicle papers during the operation, ensuring strict compliance with safety protocols.
Officials said the enhanced vigilance would continue as part of efforts to maintain peace and curb crime in the district.
